Hyperemesis Gravidarum (extreme morning sickness)

Are you feeling like your sickness is too much to handle? Cant keep anything down including water? It is possible you have Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

HG occurs in a small percentage of pregnancies. The diagnosis can vary, it is generally considered if there is a more than 5% weight loss within a couple weeks, unable to keep water or food down, and dehydration requiring medical attention. HG may resolve around 20 weeks, but it can also last the duration of pregnancy. When HG occurs, it is important you seek help from a qualified healthcare provider.

Just remember this:

It doesn’t last forever. It may feel like it will last forever but I promise you it does end. Take a deep breath. You got this Mama.
